Tara appreciates the opportunity to lead the EAP team in supporting employees and their families in pursuit of personal and professional well-being. She believes everyone benefits when organizations provide tools and resources to help manage stress and promote health.Tara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified by the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She has also earned certifications as an Employee Assistance Professional, Senior Professional in Human Resources, and mediator. Tara has a masters degree in social work and a bachelor of arts in English. Her ongoing professional development focuses on integrated (mind, body, and spirit) health and wellness.Prior to joining the Arlington EAP, Tara’s twenty plus years of EAP experience was with large corporations and a small consulting practice. Tara started her EAP career at Delta Air Lines where she created their first employee support program. She has expertise in drug testing, work/life balance, as well as health and wellness. Tara is committed to ensuring that the EAP continues to evolve to deliver resources focused on meeting the changing needs of employees. She is passionate about destigmatizing mental health care and eliminating barriers to access because “there is no health without mental health”.
